Grade 9-12 podcast

For thousands of years, travelers have been hearing noises in the desert. It sounds like the wind, but it's not. Its the sand dunes. A research team came from California to observe what is causing all the noise. So they go to Death Valley in California to do some research on the different types of dunes and what is responsible for the sounds.
It is due to the Booming dunes. There are a couple of layers to a dune. There is a soft top layer and a hard moist layer that keeps the sand from caving in or sliding. The researchers say that They make sounds because all the sand particle are the same size, that way they can make the same sound.

Thanksgiving Blog

My experience in this class by itself was very difficult. I did not have any clue of what is a blogg, let alone how to write one. My perspective of this class was to learn other things that we as future educators would use in the class room. Not to say that we will not use different forms of technology, but I was perseived as to learn about spreadsheet, powerpoint, access, excel, just microsoft itself. However my experience in this class was interesting. The topics however were challenging.
The first part of the class was fun, learning about google and doing everything in google. But the blog topics in the first half of the class were relatively simple and rutine. Topics like ACCESS AND ALEX. Basically the beginning of October the topics became more demanding. These topics pertained information on technology, mainly podcast. I've just now hearing about The IPhone and Itunes just being in this class.
However I'm not the only one that has that type of problem in this class. The good thing about blogs is that you can voice your own opinions about anything within reason. People can observe how your mind works, meaning if you have a knowledge of the subject at hand. A blog is just merely an online diary to certain extent. However there are rules to what you put on the web.
That's one of the bad espects of blogging. People are willing to put anything on it. And that kind of information may ruin a persons' reputation professionally. It is our resposibility as adults to know what is appropriate to put out there.
